Mmmm.., who hasn't been to Paris yet? It doesn´t really matter for that romantic, sparkling city full passion, art and yes…frenchness. Moreover, if you haven't been there for a while it is a good reason to go back!

Tourist things in Paris
The highlights in Paris which are well visited by tourists, have a good reason to be so popular: visit the Arc the Triomphe look overlooking the Champs-Élysées, the beautiful Musée d'Orsay and blink to Mona Lisa in the Louvre. For your meeting with Mona, go on a Wednesday evening. That night, the museum is open untill 21.45 and it is relative quiet in the museum. There are so many hotspots in Paris that you must have seen, like the Centre Pompidou, the Sacre Coeur, the Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the gardens Tuilleries and Luxembourg, Quartier Latin, Galeries Lafayette.... and so we can continue for a while.. Don't expect to see it all in one visit. Good reason to come back.

Paris at het riverside
Being cut through the middle by the Seine, Paris can pamper itself with a pleasant environment with two faces. There is a large citybeach at the bank where you can enjoy the beach in Paris, or you can prepare yourself a rich picnick and take a relaxed afternoon on the wharf, enjoying your glass of red wine with a warm baguette and a good piece French cheese and pâté. Just watching the scenery floating by is a great idea to spend your afternoon after seeing so many highlights.

(Almost) biking for free in Paris
Who ever thought of that? Paris, a bicycle city! The new mayor of Paris wants its city to be easy accessible for everybody and has hence, he created the plan Vélo. Since July 2007 Paris counts 750 Vélo stations where more than 10.000 bikes are waiting for you to travel through the city. Just buy a supscription for a day or a week with a bank/credit card at one of the Vélo stations. A subscription costs around 1 Euro for a day and 5 Euros for a week.

Paris, art and fashion
At the left bank of the Seine is St. Germain, a chique artists district at the same time galleries, antiques trade and the better fashion brands. For those under us with a need for shopping, this is paradise. Cannot spend the money that easily? No worries, just looking around here is also very amusing. Another district, not yet discovered by many tourists, is St. Martin. Great tip to wander around in the little streets and to have a lunch with the locals.
